Meet Natsumi

Natsumi is Japanese, but she has naturally curly hair. With the base of her hair Japanese but the ends curly, she has had difficulty finding products to help her enjoy her hair in Japan. She wants to help others not go through this stress.

She will introduce Japanese products that she uses to enhance her curls in the event.

Meet Saya 

Saya is the owner of Precious Strands Japan. Saya is a mother of a biracial child and has worked hard to enjoy her child celebrating her hair.

Saya has created a line to celebrate curly hair and hold sessions to help other people care for curly hair.

Natsumi Natsumiさんはナチュラルカーリーヘア(天然パーマ)をもつ日本人女性で、彼女自身、日本人ならではのカーリーヘアのお手入れの悩みと長年格闘してきました。彼女と同じように日本でのカーリーヘアのお手入れに悩む人たちをサポートすべく、今回このイベント開催に至りました。

Saya  Sayaさんは、日本で長年ナチュラルカーリーヘア、そしてブラックミックスコミュニティを支え続けてきた団体、Precious Strandsの創始者であり、また彼女自身、ブラックミックスの娘さんをもつママでもあります。彼女の娘さん同様、ナチュラルカーリーヘアのお手入れに悩むお子さまたちや、その親御さんたちの助けになれればと、今回のイベント開催に至りました。

Natsumiさん、Sayaさんと一緒にナチュラルカーリーヘアの基礎知識やお手入れ方法について学んだり、カーリーヘア仲間に出会うきっかけを作ってみましょう!
