Event Description

Jaspora in collaboration with the Legacy Foundation is honoured to present: Umoja. An evening soirée with the aim of bridging communities and providing a platform for networking and bonding.

Umoja(o0-MOH-jah) is a Swahili word for unity. It means to strive for and maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race. Overlooking the iconic Tokyo tower, in the heart of Azabujuban, we hope to provide an intimate gathering. Ultimately, to allow for our guests to connect with one another and collectively strive for unity in this community.

At this event, there will be talented musical artists hailing from various African/Afro diaspora nations. There will also be a selection of food originating from the Afro- diaspora.
