Legacy Foundation Japan Business Directory Terms and Conditions

Thank you for your interest in joining the Legacy Foundation Japan Business Directory ("Directory"). By applying to be listed in the Directory, you ("Member") agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please review them carefully before submitting your application.

1. Eligibility and Application Process

1.1 Eligibility: Only businesses legally registered and operating in Japan are eligible to apply for listing in the Directory.

1.2 Application Process:

  • All applicants must complete the online application form and agree to these Terms and Conditions by checking the corresponding checkbox.
  • Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Each application will be reviewed and vetted by Legacy Foundation Japan.
  • Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or rejection via email. Legacy Foundation Japan reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.

2. Member Obligations

2.1 Professional Standards: All Directory Members are expected to uphold the highest professional standards at all times. This includes:

  • Providing accurate and truthful information about your business.
  • Conducting business in a manner that reflects positively on the Member and the Directory.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and regulations in Japan.

2.2 Good Standing with Local Authorities: Members must be in good standing with all relevant local Japanese government authorities. Any legal issues, disputes, or violations must be promptly disclosed to Legacy Foundation Japan.

2.3 Updating Information:

  • It is the responsibility of the Member to keep all business information up to date. This includes contact details, business address, services offered, and any other relevant information.
  • Members must notify Legacy Foundation Japan of any changes to their business information within 30 days of such changes.

2.4 Compliance: Failure to comply with these Terms may result in the removal of the Member from the Directory without prior notice.

3. Review and Monitoring

3.1 Ongoing Monitoring: Legacy Foundation Japan reserves the right to monitor the activities and conduct of Directory Members to ensure ongoing compliance with these Terms.

3.2 Re-evaluation: Members may be subject to periodic re-evaluation to ensure continued eligibility and adherence to these Terms. Legacy Foundation Japan may request additional information or documentation from Members as part of this process.

4. Termination

4.1 Voluntary Termination: Members may request removal from the Directory at any time by submitting a written request to Legacy Foundation Japan.

4.2 Involuntary Termination: Legacy Foundation Japan reserves the right to remove any Member from the Directory at its sole discretion, particularly if a Member fails to comply with these Terms or engages in conduct detrimental to the Directory or Legacy Foundation Japan.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 No Endorsement: Listing in the Directory does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by Legacy Foundation Japan. Legacy Foundation Japan is not responsible for any interactions or transactions between Members and third parties.

5.2 Liability Disclaimer: Legacy Foundation Japan shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Directory.

6. Amendments

6.1 Changes to Terms: Legacy Foundation Japan reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes, and continued participation in the Directory after such changes shall constitute acceptance of the new Terms.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

7.1 Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
