Event Description

Do you know what to do in the case of a Natural Disaster? How should you pack? The Legacy Foundation Japan is working with the Peace Boat Disaster Relief to present a workshop to prepare you! 

 The session will be led by Ms Ikuno Suzuki, the Outreach Director of PVB. This workshop will be in English, focusing on earthquakes as preparation for other natural disasters (such as typhoons and floods). Participants will receive a hard copy of PBV’s original booklet, which contains some exercises, a list of suggested emergency stockpiles and do’s and don’ts at the time of earthquakes.  

 The workshop will feature information sessions, group discussions, and exercises to visualise a disaster and Q&A. 

 We will send the booklet via post for those attending the workshop online. Please send your address by March 6th when you RSVP.

Please let us know if you need the book to be in Japanese.  If you have any specific questions you would like to have answered; please send them to us when you pay for the workshop.
