A rising star “highlife” band from Ghana, a “treasure trove of music and dance arts,” captivating the world, is coming to Japan for the first time!
Santrofi is a large young group based in Accra, the capital of Ghana, whose appeal is their modern sound of highlife, one of the main pillars of West African music, and Afrobeat, which developed from it. Santrofi was formed with the mission of conveying the historic highlife music to the younger generation of Ghanaians and spreading it to the world.A stage filled with powerful brass sounds, lively beats, and vibrant energy and color!
