Join Legacy Foundation Japan and special guest Baye McNeil as we celebrate Kwanzaa in 2020 on the day of “Umoja,” December 26th. All of the days of Kwanzaa are important, but the day of Umoja - the day of Unity - is necessary to celebrate this year especially, and we want to do it with our community. All participants interested in Kwanzaa, whether newly informed about the holiday or veteran participants, are welcome to this virtual celebration!

Spring In: Women’s Mixer & Program Launch

Babs Kobayashi - dancer and co-creator of C Dynasty Dance Crew - will instruct a special Sexy Heels dance class for the Women of Legacy’s White Day celebration! This lesson will help you release your inhibitions, improve your health through exercise, and create a new way to support Black love.

Unloading Childhood Trauma: Virtual Counseling Session

This is an online zoom counseling session that will be led by Brandi Branch and Latonya Whitaker. This event will ask all 10 participants to keep their Zoom screens blank and to change their names to remain anonymous. This is the first session and will be a basic introduction of the program and a gentle guide through the process of unloading the trauma we experienced as children.
