Join us as we embark on a journey of remembrance and this year’s Juneteenth Celebration, themed “Together We Stand,” pays tribute to Dr. Opal Lee, the grandmother of Juneteenth, and recognizes advocates for positive change in Japan. Through a month-long extravaganza filled with vibrant cultural expressions and meaningful activities, we invite you to stand in solidarity and embrace the richness of Black history and heritage. Together, let us walk hand in hand towards a future of equality, justice, and unity.

Our organization strives to unite Black communities in Japan, offering a platform that amplifies their voices to a broader audience while connecting with our global and Japanese friends & family.
