Event Description

This is an online counseling session that will ask all participants to keep their Zoom screens blank and to change their names to remain anonymous. This month’s session will deal with all aspects of trauma we experienced as children and how it affects us today.

ABOUT YOUR COUNSELORS:

LATONYA WHITAKER

LaTonya Whitaker holds a bachelors in Psychology & Education from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Masters degree in Divinity & Pastoral Counseling from Mercer University in Georgia. She also holds a certification in Victimology from the World Society of Victimology and the Tokiwa International Victimology Institute in Mito, Japan.

BRANDI BRANCH

Brandi A. Branch is Certified Obstetrical Clinical Nurse in the 374th Inpatient Operations Squadron, 374th Medical Group, 374th Fighter Wing, Yokota Air Base, JPN. There she works in a 15 bed Multibed Service Unit where she supports 500 births and 1K patients. She also supervises nursing care for a 3 member team, mentors and enforces standards of care, patient safety, infection prevention, staff education development. Brandi also delivers expert medical care to neonates and executes unit process improvements and provides patient education.
