Legacy Foundation Japan would like to welcome our global community to observe Juneteenth on June 19th, 2021! Juneteenth is known as Freedom Day, Emancipation Day, and Jubilee Day. The holiday was mostly celebrated in Texas and regions familiar with the anniversary. Juneteenth has grown recently to be recognized nationally and globally as African Americans continue to fight for rights and liberty.
