All of the days of Kwanzaa are important, but the day of Umoja - the day of Unity - is necessary to celebrate this year especially, and we want to do it with our community. Unloading Childhood Trauma: Virtual Counseling Session

This is an online zoom counseling session that will be led by Brandi Branch and Latonya Whitaker. This event will ask all 10 participants to keep their Zoom screens blank and to change their names to remain anonymous. This is the first session and will be a basic introduction of the program and a gentle guide through the process of unloading the trauma we experienced as children.

Desk Work Injury Prevention

This course is designed to protect working people from common injuries and problems that come from sitting for long periods like lower back pain and stiff shoulders. The exercises taught in this event are designed to relieve pain and tension and bring basic core strength and flexibility back.

All SBJ training programs and exercises are designed to increase both strength and flexibility simultaneously; but this course is designed to hit particularly troublesome areas that can affect performance in everything from walking to just sitting upright.
